Ordering is currently closed #1390 – Community Greenhouse NEW Plot for 2017
1 more reservation available. Order number of reservations.
Reserve your 12' x 4' raised bed today for the 2017 season! Each plot is pre-filled with black topsoil ready for you to fertilize and/or add compost of your choosing. Beds are leased for a cost of $100 per year (including hydro & water).

Some quick facts (more details will be available in your registration package):
- The greenhouse is equipped with temperature controlled ventilation 4' high blinds for optimal cooling
- The community side of the greenhouse is equipped with an automated waterer. This system is used to raise humidity and cool plants in extreme heat, but is an extremely ineffective means of deep watering soils. A garden hose & watering can are available for your use for this purpose.
- Your bed will require your attention (or a delegate) all summer, staff to manage your plot are not included in your fee.
- There is a Facebook group for plot holders to keep in touch or share duties for those interested
- Dirt provided is not weed free. We ask that only organic soil amendments and pest control measures are used in our greenhouse. A list of approved substances and products are available upon sign up.
- guidelines to prevent entry and spread of disease and pests will be provided before start up
-compost cans are available for your organic matter disposal
