Rainy River Elk Company is a family farm business operated by Bill Darby & Deb Cornell. We are located at 666 LaVallee Road North approximately 15 km west of Fort Frances in northwestern Ontario. We began our business in 1995 and in recent years have averaged about 130 elk on the farm.
Elk is a delicious, full-flavoured red meat with a hint of sweetness. It is low in fat and cholesterol making it a heart-healthy choice. Elk loin is lower in fat than skinless chicken breast. No growth promotants or antibiotics are used in our elk feed.
